Update to Website

By Bill Garvey

We’ve been talking about the update to our website for some time. And despite a nasty gremlin recently lurking about, we have finally got the site up. If you have found the website hung (un-responsive) particularly when signing up for the meeting, then you have seen the gremlin – Happy Halloween (cheap excuse – huh?).

So, some of the new things to look for:

Featured supporters
We are recognizing those people or organizations who have contributed to our chapter, either through grants or donations. Their names/logos will appear on the Home page, Links page and the new Supporters page.

More information on each page
Increased the size of the website page
Moved the navigation to the top to gain more space

Trip Tips
Added a section for personal recommendations for guides, lodging, etc. in the Members Section. You can add your recommendations for fishing trips.

Changed the main menu selections
Combined ‘General Interest’ and ‘Conservation’ under the entry ‘Articles’
Moved 'Home Waters' and 'About website' to 'About Us'
Generally reorganizewd pages to make better use of the space
