February Chapter Meeting

This chapter meeting is on February 6th, and the guest speaker will be Peter Jonas from TUDARE (Trout Unlimited Driftless Area Restoration Effort). 

Peter recently joined the TUDARE staff in the role of Partnership Specialist. His mission is to collaborate with chapters, share the latest developments in stream restoration projects from TUDARE, and provide information about how individuals and chapters can further the work of restoring and protecting Driftless area watersheds. Peter is a life member of Trout Unlimited and has served on the boards of the Southern Wisconsin and Wisconsin Clearwaters Chapters.  Recently, he has worked to secure support and funding for stream restoration projects in Buffalo and Trempealeau Counties.

This event offers an excellent chance to understand the restoration initiatives in the Driftless area and discover projects our chapter will support — both financially and through dedicated work days!

Chapter Meetings Details:

• When: February 6th, 2024
• Location in Cold Months: Pizzeria Serio, 1708 W. Belmont, Chicago.
• Directions: Upon entering the main dining area of Pizzeria Serio, take the stairs on the left to reach our private second-floor space.
• Parking: Plenty of street parking is available on Belmont and side streets. Reminder: Do not park on the north side of Belmont before 6:00 p.m.
• Agenda: 6:00 pm: Social Hour - A warm setting where attendees reminisce, share fishing tales, discuss conservation, and more. 6:45 pm: Dinner - Delight in a buffet that boasts a salad, Pizzeria Serio's renowned brick oven pizza, and other treats. The cost stands at $30 per person. ~7:15 pm: Peter Jonas.
