Kalkaska County Residents Weigh Decision on Data Center
Kalkaska County, MI residents are being asked to approve a plan to develop a data center on public land near Kalkaska. Matt Rine and Vemerald LLC are leading the proposal to create a large data center on 24 acres of state owned land. The rapid growth of mega data centers in the Midwest raises concerns over whether the power grid and natural water resources can handle the load. Read the MLive article here.

TIC Up-Date: Alevins!
The Trout in the Classroom program is hatching Alevins: newly emerged baby Rainbows still feeding from their yolk sacs. EDTU supports 6 TIC tanks in schools across the Chicago area. Once the Alevins finish their yolks in a week or 2, they will "Swim Up" and begin to feed as Parr.
